I don’t mean to brag but I do have my own laptop.

OK to travel for short-term gigs, long-ass meetings, and karaoke battles.*

I’m not a man of few words, which led me to spend the last two decades helping brands speak their minds.

Before having my work featured in the Super Bowl, Times Square, and everywhere in between, I first pursued writing as a news reporter in my native Venezuela, often finding myself in front of the keyboard while recovering from the soothing effects of tear gas.

After two years, I decided to accept an unpaid internship at Ogilvy. With no dress code and no tear gas, how could I refuse?

From an early age, I was trusted—and eventually paid—to be a lead writer for brands like Mattel and American Express, which served as a springboard to continue my journey in the US of A, this time as an English-Spanish switch-hitter for the likes of Target, IKEA, Bud Light, US Census, P&G, and Apple.

Advertising and branding have given me the opportunity to work one-on-one with CEOs and CMOs of public companies and VC-backed startups, so I like to think I can be trusted around grownups.

I hold a B.A. in Journalism from Universidad Santa María in Caracas, where I graduated dead last in my class (my mom hates how comfortable I am admitting this).

Thanks for making it all the way down here; my friends call me Omi, by the way.
